79 Volvo 240, the temperature gauge goes into the red lately after about 10 minutes of driving, (the radiator is full). I was checking out the fan to the radiator and it turned in both directions with little resistance, it that normal? When the car is running the fan appears to be blowing quite hard. could it possibly be that the sender is shot?
The Volvo’s radiator doesn’t have a cap, it’s a sealed type, with only a reservoir.

I bough my self an xc90 volvo but its with a salvage title. I will fix it up and drive it for about a year then sell it, can i sell it for as much as a dealer would, or the car will fall to about 10% - 20% in coast because of the salvage history it had?

I have a 96′ Volvo 850 that needs the heater hoses installed. There are none currently attached but i do have the correct new ones. The thing I need to know is there some sort of grommet or O-ring the goes on the end that attaches to the heater core?
