Do Volvo engines normally make a clicking noise?

I just purchased a 2003 Volvo XC90 T6 with only 56k miles on it and have noticed especially when the hood is popped that it makes a clicking noise. Is this normal for this type of car. Slightly sounds kind of like a diesel engine I guess. Should I be worried?
It’s a constant clicking with the rpm of the engine. If it wasn’t a Volvo I would think it might be bad rockers or something like that. That kind of noise.

      The old t6 motor is pretty normal mind you the old t6 motor is pretty normal mind you the old t6 motor is bit of lemon.
