i recently came into possesion of my grandparents 2007 buick. My parents are allowing me to trade it in. I really want to get an 87′ stick shift BMW..but my parents argue that its not going to be as safe as this 86′ standard volvo i also had my eye on. Are they pretty much equal in stability? (in theory and asuming both cars have passed inspection and have a clean carfax report)
