How do I use the Overdrive on a volvo s40 2002. I dont have the manual anymore so I can;t look it up. I would be driving long distance in a week or so and wanna use the overdrive if there is any. Thanks

      The rest its not necessary to turn it on and the computer will take care of the computer will take care of the computer will take care of.

      The overdrive is controlled by the trans. control module and engages when freeway speeds are met. The driver has no control over overdrive engagement,however you disengage it manually by moving the shifter to the lower gears. But i wouldn’t advise u to do that especially if your driving on the freeway cause possible trans. damage or the ecmtcm may detect at fault and lite up your check engine warning lite..
