I need to remove the wiper arm of a Volvo XC70. I got the nut off the end of the bolt, but the arm won’t budge. Anyone know the trick to getting it off?
The answer below is the most common method, but in my case, did not work. I ended up using a battery terminal lifter to raise the portion of the wiper arm that was stuck to the bolt (one of my arms was broken, as you can see in this image). This worked very well for both wiper arms.
