How to remove rams from a volvo sterndrive?

Cannot figure how to remove the pins that hold the hydraulic rams from a volvo 290 stern drive. Someone told me that i have to remove a bolt located inside and then apply grease from the outside. Anyone with better directions out there?

      Volvo there is small screw that holds each pin in way up inside the transom platewhich will of coarse probably snap off once you finally get socket on them so be careful httpwwwvolvopentastorecommallimagevendor699epcbigger8022_bigpng.
