What belongs in this spot on my Volvo 850 engine?

I am tuning up my volvo and there is an opening under the cover between the 3rd and 4th spark plugs. There are 2 threaded holes beside this hole. It appears that oil may be coming out of the hole as there is a small amount of oil in the area.

      For novice you could clean the best repair but should work.
